Nimbus Group appoints exclusive dealer in Turkey
Aquador 400HT Sweden’s Nimbus Group has appointed SoleMarin Yachting as the exclusive dealer for Aquador boats in Turkey.
“Turkey offers interesting, long-term growth opportunities for both Aquador and Nimbus Group as a whole. To capitalise on these opportunities, it is essential that we expand our network of dedicated dealers,” says Arnoud van Oudheusden, sales director at Nimbus Group.
The country has one of Europe’s longest coastlines and a significant domestic motorboat market. Nimbus Group already distributes boats under the Nimbus brand in Turkey.
SoleMarin operates two sales offices in Bodrum and Göcek along the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Nimbus Group has recently completed its most extensive renewal of Aquador models in more than two decades, launching three new boats: the Aquador 300 in autumn 2023, followed by the Aquador 250 and Aquador 400.
In 2024, the Aquador 300HT won second place in the Sportscruisers up to 45ft category at Boot Düsseldorf. Earlier this year, the Aquador 400 HT was named Cabin Cruiser of the Show at Vene 25 in Helsinki and has also been nominated for Boat of the Year in Norway.
Aquador has an established position in the Nordic region, and Nimbus Group has started introducing the brand in selected markets across Europe and North America.
In July, Nimbus reported a sales decrease of eight per cent in its second-quarter results for 2025.
