Norfolk boatyard crowned Best in Britain

A Norfolk boatyard has been presented with three top tourism awards by UK holiday giant Hoseasons – including the Best in Britain title.

Richardson’s Cruisers was also crowned Boating in Britain winner at Hoseasons’ 13th annual Gala Awards evening –a celebration of their lodge, park and boating locations across the UK – and were also honoured for their 65-year business relationship with the self-catering specialists.

Commenting after the award was presented at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales. Greg Munford, CEO at Richardson’s Cruisers says: “This is fantastic news. The success of our business is ultimately dependent on how holidaymakers feel about their stay with us, so receiving an award based on the strength of our customer satisfaction scores is particularly pleasing. We do everything we can to give our guests a first-rate experience whenever they visit, so it’s great for the team to get the recognition they deserve.”

Speaking after presenting the awards, Simon Altham, Managing Director – Revenue, at Hoseasons, says: “It was an absolute pleasure to hand over this award to the team at Richardson’s Cruisers. We all know the importance that positive reviews can have on bookings and it’s clear from the feedback they’ve been receiving that they’re doing a fantastic job of looking after our customers. They deserve all the plaudits that come their way and I wish them every success for the year ahead.”
