Bogdan Gusarev Bogdan Gusarev joins Numarine as sales manager for Europe & CIS

Turkish boatbuilder Numarine has appointed Bogdan Gusarev as sales manager for the Europe and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region as part of changes to its international sales team. He joins the shipyard with more than a decade of experience in the explorer yacht sector.

The nine active member states of CIS are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Before entering the yachting industry, Gusarev lived aboard a sailing yacht, giving him first-hand experience of extended periods at sea.

Patrik von Sydow, CEO of Numarine, says: “Bogdan combines real boating experience with a genuine understanding of what owners in this segment are looking for. That’s a rare mix, and exactly what we need as we grow our presence across Europe and the CIS.”

Salih Küçükoğlu takes on an expanded regional sales role

The company has also expanded the responsibilities of Salih Küçükoğlu, who was previously sales manager for MENA and APAC. In his new role as sales manager for Türkiye, MENA and APAC, he now also oversees the Turkish market.

Küçükoğlu has a background in mechanical engineering and international yacht sales. During his career, he has worked on luxury interior design projects as well as motor yacht sales. He has also been involved in developing dealer networks and managing client relationships across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

“With a customer-focused mindset and a design-driven perspective, Küçükoğlu now brings this experience to Numarine’s home market, supporting the shipyard’s continued growth in Türkiye,” adds Von Sydow.

Sales across the Americas continue to be led by Ali Tanir, head of Numarine Americas.
