Ocean Safety appoints new SOLAS service agents in Germany

Ocean Safety, specialists in the worldwide supply, distribution, service and hire of marine safety equipment, has appointed a new servicing centre in Germany.

Wildhagen Marine Services, which has sites in Kiel and Wilhelmshafen, has been fully approved to service the Ocean Safety ranges of liferafts and lifejackets, following a training programme given to their personnel by Ocean Safety.

Wildhagen Marine Services, which specialises in servicing safety and rescue equipment, has been providing expertise in ship safety since 1929. Being certified as an Ocean Safety Approved Service Centre means that Wildhagen will now carry out regular servicing to Ocean Safety’s range of SOLAS approved liferafts, liferafts and other safety equipment used by the commercial maritime sector.

Ocean Safety’s Steve Bockett, who provided the servicing training, comments “Wildhagen is a highly experienced and specialised marine servicing centre. By adding Ocean Safety products to their portfolio, the company widens its options for offering customers a choice of competitive safety packages. We are delighted to have such a highly regarded partner on board.”

Wildhagen Marine Services will supply and maintain Ocean Safety equipment to a range of customers including commercial boat builders, military forces and ship fleets.
