Ocean Safety named Australian distributor for Ocean Regatta liferaft

Ocean Safety - Ocean Regatta Liferaft LR

Ocean Safety has been appointed sole Australian distributor of the Ocean Regatta liferaft.

The Ocean Regatta is a light and ultra-compact liferaft, making it ideal for vessels where space and weight savings are a priority on board. This high-quality raft is also fully compliant to ISO 9650 – Part 1 (approved by RINA).

Offering stability and resistance in extreme open sea conditions, it protects occupants from strong winds and rough seas. A large opening at the point of entry and a self-deploying canopy ensure that access is as easy as possible in difficult conditions, while facilitating access to the interior during a rescue operation.

The Ocean Regatta can be upgraded to include the SOLAS B liferaft pack, if necessary, the additional pack items can be packed inside the liferaft.

The liferaft, like all of Ocean Safety’s offshore rafts, is available in a canister or valise pack option, with a choice of 4,6,8,10 or 12-person capacity (10 and 12 person – canister only).

Ocean Safety specialises in the worldwide supply, distribution, service and hire of marine safety equipment. Expanding on its current distribution across the UK and Ireland, Ocean Safety will supply the entire Australian market through its comprehensive distribution network across the country.

“We’re delighted to have been appointed the exclusive distributor of the Ocean Regatta liferaft,” says Ocean Safety’s managing director, Alistair Hackett. “This agreement highlights our commitment to the Australian marine industry and we’re looking forward to working with our network of knowledgeable dealers and experienced service stations to bring this versatile liferaft to the Australian boating community.

“We have a terrific network of very committed partners in Australia, all of whom have the same ethos to marine safety as we do at Ocean Safety.”
