Palm Beach International Boat Show opens doors

The 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) has officially opened along Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach, Florida, running from 19 March to 23 March.
Now in its 43rd edition, the show features more than 1,000 yachts and over 600 exhibitors, drawing an estimated 55,000 visitors. The event has a projected statewide economic impact of more than $1.05bn, according to show organisers.
This year’s show has expanded in size, and includes an additional day – up from four days to five – and incorporates an extended presence at Palm Harbor Marina, where the Superyacht Show Palm Beach component is hosting 45 yachts over 150 feet.
Among the largest vessels on display is the 101m superyacht Attessa IV, built by Washington Yachting Group, which is the biggest yacht to attend PBIBS in over a decade. Other notable large yachts include the 85m expedition yacht Bold, known for its military-style aesthetics, and the 78m Amaryllis, which previously held the title of the largest yacht at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Superyacht debuts and new models
PBIBS 2025 features several world premieres and US debuts. The 52m Daybreak by Baglietto introduces a three-tiered beach club and an infinity pool, while Benetti’s 61m Bravissima showcases a custom design with a touch-and-go helipad. Tankoa Yachts presents Diamond Binta, a 58m explorer featuring a gym, a glass-encased corridor through the engine room and a beach club with a treatment room.
Other debuts at Palm Beach Boat Show 2025 include the 45m Go, the first in Tankoa’s T450 series, featuring a hydromassage tub, a shaded dining area and a sliding sunpad over the main deck pool. Westport returns to PBIBS with Priceless, a 35.8m yacht from its W117 series, which features a centreline hot tub and a flybridge with a barbecue and bar.
Other notable debuts include the 34.9m Fox by Pendennis, an explorer yacht with a large aft deck for tenders and recreational vehicles, and the 40.9m Jules by Baglietto, with interiors inspired by luxury sports cars. Gulf Craft’s Majesty 120, Abigail, is also making its US debut.

Sanlorenzo is exhibiting two yachts for the first time at a US boat show: the SD118 and 500 Exp. The SD118 features Sanlorenzo’s asymmetrical design, with an extended upper deck and a fold-down terrace. The 500 Exp is a 47m explorer yacht with a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles, designed to carry a helicopter, seaplane or submarine.
Beyond the yacht displays, PBIBS 2025 offers a variety of interactive attractions. The AquaZone provides demonstrations of high-performance watersports equipment, while the Cox Science Center and Aquarium presents marine life exhibits and hands-on educational activities for younger visitors.
The Windward VIP Club offers an exclusive experience with premium hospitality and private lounges. Attendees can also explore advancements in sustainable yachting, including hybrid propulsion systems and eco-conscious materials.
Since its launch in 1982, PBIBS has grown into a globally recognised event, bringing together industry leaders, shipyards and yacht buyers. The 2025 edition continues to showcase an extensive selection of superyachts, brokerage vessels and new designs from brands such as Sunseeker, Princess and Azimut.
