Premier Marinas has completed the first phase of its integration of former Boatfolk properties, absorbing Deacons Marina into its portfolio ahead of the peak summer season.

In September 2025, UK marina company Premier Marinas announced it was acquiring boatfolk’s 11 marinas.

The addition of Deacons Marina to the Premier network will significantly expand berthing benefits for its customers. Alongside four other former Boatfolk sites – Haslar, East Cowes, Portland and Weymouth – the integration expands Premier’s network to 17 coastal marinas spanning from Falmouth to Eastbourne, substantially increasing the group’s berth capacity and cruising benefits for its contract holders.

The final phase of the integration is scheduled for autumn 2026. This will complete the brand transition for Boatfolk’s remaining regional properties, including Conwy, Penarth, Portishead, Rhu and Royal Quays marinas.

Andrew Lewis, sales & marketing director at Premier Marinas, says: “It is no secret, the acquisition of the Boatfolk portfolio presented a huge opportunity for us to deepen our network offering.

“We have deliberately timed the first phase of our integration activity to ensure we were able to maximise and focus the benefits for our customers this season. The conclusion of this first phase of alignment of the Boatfolk sites, marks an important step forward in our evolution as a business, as we continue to invest in our sites and expand the level of service we provide our customers.”

Under the new structure, Deacons berth holders now transition to the Premier Advantage rewards programme. Benefits include 42 nights of complimentary visitor berthing across the expanded network and preferential fuel rates managed via the MyPremier digital platform and app.

Premier has continued this period of sustained growth and acquisition, announcing in April 2026 that it had acquired the Dart Marina Group in Dartmouth, bringing Dart Marina, Dart Marina Hotel and the Dartmouth Higher Ferry into its portfolio.
