Project Omega: 123m Lürssen superyacht sold

Moran Yacht & Ship has announced the sale of the 122.5m Lürssen new build, Project Omega, which is due for delivery in 2029. This sale marks the company’s 25th Lürssen new construction project.
US-based brokerage Moran Yacht & Ship was responsible for the sale, development of technical specifications, contract negotiations and project oversight.
The vessel, designed by British studio RWD, will measure 122.5m in length, with a beam of 16.8m and a draft of 4.5m. It will accommodate 20 guests across 10 staterooms. Features will include a beach club, a dive centre, and extensive outdoor spaces. RWD is responsible for both the interior and exterior design. Further project details currently remain confidential.
German shipyard Lürssen, which delivered the 142m Dragonfly at the end of 2024, has added Project Omega to its portfolio of large yachts. Other recent vessels from the Bremen-based shipyard include the 115m Lady Jorja, 122m Kismet, the 146m Opera, the 141m Nord, and 82m Haven.
Dragonfly, previously known as Alibaba, was involved in an incident in 2023 when it crashed through the door of a Lürssen dry dock.
Project Omega will be among the largest superyachts in the world, featuring extensive entertainment and relaxation areas.
In a statement, Moran Yacht & Ship says: “We want to take this opportunity to congratulate the teams at RWD and the Lürssen shipyard. We look forward to an on-time and on-budget delivery in 2029.”
