Propspeed appoints Jim Bandy to lead Americas operations
Jim Bandy, Propspeed’s VP of sales and operations for the Americas.
Underwater foul-release coating specialist Propspeed has appointed Jim Bandy as vice president of sales and operations for the Americas. In the new position, Bandy is tasked with developing the New Zealand-based company’s commercial marine business unit and supporting ongoing growth with existing partners.
Bandy has more than 30 years of experience in the marine industry. Most recently, he served as director of business development for New Zealand-based McKay. His previous roles include four years with Raymarine/FLIR, three years at Navico and two decades as sales representative and territory manager at West Marine. At Propspeed, Bandy will oversee the sales team across the Americas, aiming to expand the company’s presence and grow market share in the commercial marine sector.
