Radian IoT, a firm that uses GPS and boat configuration data to provide predictive analytics for dealers, manufacturers and consumers, has announced a partnership with Wave Marine Group.

Radian IoT says this collaboration integrates its real-time vessel monitoring technology with Wave’s on-demand marine services platform.

Through this partnership, users of Radian’s vessel monitoring solution can monitor the condition of their boats, receive alerts for potential issues, and connect with technicians or schedule services directly via the Wave app. Additionally, service providers can utilise Radian’s insights to prepare for specific vessel requirements, aiming to minimise downtime and enhance service precision.

“This collaboration bridges the gap between cutting-edge vessel monitoring and on-demand marine services, giving boat owners unparalleled control over their boating experience,” says Joe Czarnecky, Radian founder and CEO. “Wave’s transparent job details, combined with Radian’s reliable monitoring, give boat owners confidence in the services they receive and the condition of their vessels. From detecting system anomalies to scheduling the right service provider at the right time, this partnership ensures boating remains a stress-free and enjoyable experience.”

James Carter, founder and CEO of Wave Marine Group, adds, “Joining forces with Radian is a step forward in marine technology, leveraging data and connectivity to transform how the industry operates. Radian’s monitoring ensures vessels are operating safely and alerts users to potential issues before they escalate for a safer boating experience. We are very excited to pair these two technologies to provide our customers with an intuitive vessel management system.”

For boat owners, the partnership provides access to real-time vessel monitoring via the Wave app, allowing users to check data such as engine performance, battery health, fuel levels, and system alerts. Potential maintenance issues are detected automatically, enabling owners to book services before problems escalate. Additionally, routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services can be managed through a single platform.

Service providers also benefit from the integration, gaining access to actionable data insights from Radian’s monitoring technology. Providers also receive detailed job information, including vessel history, to make workflows more efficient.

Users of the Wave app can access options such as boat washing, interior cleaning, bottom cleaning, sea strainers and system checks, and crew services. The app features a rating system, synced calendar, consistent pricing and automated payments.
