UK-based Rapid Marine, which designs and supplies top tier accessories for yacht tenders and jet skis, has appointed Izzy Heaton as operations manager.

The new appointment will support the company as it expands into new markets and responds to increasing market demand for its portfolio of products.

Heaton will be based in Plymouth, and will be responsible for stock, production, and dispatch operations.

Customer service remains a core value at Rapid Marine, and the company is committed to strengthening internal systems to support growth and better serve its clients.

Over the past five years, Rapid Marine has experienced substantial growth without updating order processing procedures. Now, at this crucial juncture, the company is prioritising support for its team to maintain consistency as operations scale up.

Heaton brings three years of experience as an account executive at a safety compliance firm, during which she travelled internationally and developed expertise in customer relations and safety standards. She is already familiar with Rapid Marine, having assisted the team at the Metstrade show in Amsterdam in recent years.

Rapid Marine’s managing director, Mike Evers, says: “Its been a busy few year for us, we knew it was the right time to bring someone in to help strengthen the operational side of the business. Izzy already knows us and fits straight in, so we’re really pleased to have her join the team.”

In her initial weeks, Heaton will work closely with Evers, gaining insight into order workflows and reviewing current processes, all aimed at enhancing Rapid Marine’s expansion plans.

In 2025, Rapid Marine introduced bespoke Seabob Chocks to its lineup.

The company confirms it has new product launches slated for 2026 along with increased presence at industry events, and new partnership agreements.
