Yamaha Motor signs five-year OEM deal with White Shark

Yamaha Motor Europe has signed a five-year full OEM agreement with French offshore specialist White Shark, under a renewed framework.

The deal, which follows a long-standing collaboration between the two companies, covers rigging and outboard engines across White Shark’s European distribution, integrating Yamaha propulsion systems within the brand’s distinctive deep-vee offshore hulls.

Under the renewed agreement, all White Shark models will be powered by Yamaha.

This latest agreement reflects Yamaha Motor Europe’s current strategy to expand its supply partnerships. Earlier this year, Whaly Boats also appointed Yamaha Motor Europe as its preferred outboard engine partner across many of its rotationally moulded HDPE models. In November 2025, Yamaha Motor Europe also extended its supply partnership with French boatbuilder Zodiac Nautic.

White Shark boats are designed for anglers and coastal explorers, with offshore durability at their core. The boats are designed to provide stability in demanding seas and confident performance when conditions intensify.

Fabrice Lacoume, marine director at Yamaha Motor Europe, says: “White Shark has built its reputation on strong character and offshore capability. Their deep-vee hulls demand propulsion systems that match their ambition.

“By empowering White Shark with Yamaha’s advanced outboard range, we ensure owners benefit from performance that inspires confidence in all conditions. This agreement reaffirms Yamaha’s continued support of European boatbuilders whose design philosophies centre on dynamic handling and open-water reliability.”
