Edinburgh Marina Holdings, the developer of the landmark Edinburgh Marina scheme, announced yesterday the launch of the first phase of its luxury Royal Wharf development retirement apartments. The launch coincides with the opening of the Edinburgh Marina show flat in the Old Gunpowder Store and will provide the first opportunity for purchasers to reserve apartments as well, at the same time enabling boat owners to reserve one of 340 berths in the new Edinburgh Marina.

The Royal Wharf Living For Retirement development is designed for the over 55s, providing the services and amenities for an active and fulfilling retirement. The 106 spacious quality apartments are complemented by the development’s 24-hour concierge service, secure separate private storage facilities and car parking (all with charging points) and access to a wide range of specifically tailored amenities and services including: a private dining room & cinema, business centre, dog washing facility and a communal laundry room.

From 9am on Wednesday 17 October 2018, potential new buyers will have the opportunity to view the show apartment located in the restored Old Gunpowder Store which is located in Lochinvar Drive adjacent to Middle Pier. The showroom will showcase the quality of interior design and specification from the principle suppliers Sims Hilditch, Neptune, Khars, VitrA, Roman, and Hamilton Litestat.

A selection of spacious one, two and three-bedroom luxury retirement residences will be available for reservation. Knight Frank has been appointed as the Sales Agent for the scheme, in conjunction with DJ Alexander who are the largest letting agency in Edinburgh.
