Saxdor expands production capacity for flagship launch
Finnish shipyard Saxdor Yachts is expanding its manufacturing capacity with a new facility in Larsmo, Finland, to prepare for the launch of its new flagship model, the Saxdor 460 GTC. The yacht is scheduled to make its world premiere in January 2026.
The Saxdor 460 GTC introduces the company’s first entry into the 45–50ft yacht category and represents a development in its design and production approach. The model’s enclosed, all-season wheelhouse connects directly to exterior spaces, linking the bow lounge to the aft deck.
“The Saxdor 460 GTC marks a new chapter for our brand,” says Erna Rusi, CEO of Saxdor Yachts. “Our continuous growth and strong demand confirm that Saxdor has earned its place in the market, and that interest in our boats now extends to new customer segments, including those now looking toward the larger end of our range.”

To meet growing demand, Saxdor opened its Larsmo facility in October 2025. The site will focus on producing the company’s largest and most advanced models, including the 460 GTC. The firm says the expansion increases its overall production capacity and supports the company’s projected annual growth of 70 per cent in 2025.

Founded in 2019, Saxdor Yachts produces a range of boats from 20ft to over 40ft and is headquartered in Helsinki, with additional operations in Elk, Poland. The company employs around 800 people and has a dealer network spanning 150 locations across five continents.
