Scanstrut launches world-first in phone charging

Scanstrut has launched the world’s first 12/24V waterproof wireless phone charging mat.

The ROKK Wireless – Catch is the latest addition to the waterproof ROKK wireless range. It’s said to allow the user to store and wirelessly charge their phone onboard, indoors or outside. Designed to be installed onto any flat surface, the phone instantly charges wirelessly when placed onto the centre of the charging mat. The edging bumpers are designed to stop the phone from sliding out, and lets the mat catch the phone from any angle.

The charging mat features Qi-certified wireless charging technology, foreign object detection, and an intelligent thermal cut-off which the company says will guarantee safe, reliable charging in all environments.

Compatible with wireless charging enabled phones of all sizes and from all major brands, charging is also possible through non-metallic, waterproof cases.

Subjected to its harshest environmental, vibration, impact, and on-water testing programs, Scanstrut says the Catch is arguably the most convenient way to wirelessly charge your phone onboard.
