Self-charging hydrogeneration models from ePropulsion

ePropulsion has announced its full product line is being enhanced with self-charging hydrogeneration capabilties.

The self-charging functionality enables reverse charging of the motor’s battery, allowing it to charge while sailing or towing at speeds between 4 and 10 knots whether on an auxiliary motor for a sailboat or an outboard for a tender.

The established Spirit and Navy ePropulsion product lines have also all evolved with the announcement of the all-new Spirit 1.0 EVO, Navy 3.0 EVO and Navy 6.0 EVO models available from early 2021.

The company says its other innovations for 2021 include 48-volt architecture, safety wristbands, a new ergonomic tiller and direct-drive brushless motors.

“We have been hard at work designing and innovating these new models and are really pleased with the results,” says Danny Tao, CEO ePropulsion.
