Volvo Penta deal for Mylor Yacht Harbour

Volvo Penta has appointed Mylor Yacht Harbour as an authorised UK service and sales dealership – acknowledging Mylor’s marine team as a ‘go-to’ for installation, servicing, warranties and sales for the many thousands of vessels containing its products.

The marine team met the criteria required by Volvo Penta to both supply and service technologies used in the leisure boating and commercial markets, placing the Cornish yacht harbour within a global network of dealers and distributors.

“We have worked extremely hard to ensure we meet Volvo Penta’s exacting standards and we’re looking forward to being able to provide this additional service to our customers in 2021,” says Nathan Percival, Mylor Yacht Harbour’s engineering manager.

“Our experienced team of marine engineers has successfully undergone all the bespoke training required by this world-class organisation and are ready and able to provide sales, service and support for Volvo Penta engines throughout Cornwall and the wider South West.”

“We welcome all the Team at Mylor Yacht Harbour Ltd to the Volvo Penta family,” says Graham Pretty, the firm’s dealer business manager for UK/Ireland.

“With Mylor’s impressive facilities and extensive skill sets, they will be able to provide assistance and advice to all our customers and be sure to enhance their ‘on water’ experience.

“Our marine segment has remained very strong throughout recent times and continues to grow with Volvo Penta leading the way in innovation and new technology. By partnering with Mylor Yacht Harbour Ltd we can further support our valued Volvo Penta customers in the South West.”
