Shakespeare announces two promotions and recruitment drive

Antenna design and material solutions company, Shakespeare, has promoted Dave Manasseh and Frankie Mckenna to industrial and antenna sales manager and Shakespeare European sales representative respectively.
The antenna company has also announced a recruitment drive for a newly available position as part of its growth strategy for 2025 and beyond.
Manasseh has been promoted to industrial and antenna sales manager, with immediate effect. Manasseh has been with Shakespeare for 30 years, has a strong commercial background with decades of experience developing Shakespeare’s global distributor network for the marine antenna division of the business. For the Shakespeare Monofilament side of the business, Manasseh will take the lead for Europe and Asia.
Manasseh’s new role will see him responsible for maintaining and developing international relationships with partners, distributors and customers in the industrial textile industry, with the target to expand and operate in further regions across the globe.
Gary Walsh, Shakespeare general manager in the UK, says: “Dave is incredibly passionate, with an impressive track-record of sales growth and world-wide expansion for Shakespeare Marine. Dave has already begun to make his mark for the Industrial side of the business, and we are confident he will offer new opportunities and service to our Monofilament customers.”
Manasseh says: “This is a really exciting time for me personally, as well as for our business. I am looking forward to applying my experience from the global marine industry to the industrial material sector. I’m excited to learn more about clients’ needs and ensure a seamless transition for our material solutions customers.”
Recently promoted to Shakespeare European sales representative, Frankie McKenna will be supporting Manasseh in his new role, taking on responsibility for commercial relationships and distributors of Shakespeare products across the European marine industry to strengthen market presence. He says: “I look forward to meeting our valued partners, distributors and customers – new and existing – across the marine industry in Europe.”
As part of the growth plans for Shakespeare Marine and Monofilament, there is a recruitment drive to appoint a new industrial sales representative, to help support the team following sustained growth globally. Additionally, the new recruit will be helping to identify, develop and commercialise new accounts and product application opportunities.
