Shakespeare Marine announces new Italian distributor

Marine antenna manufacturer Shakespeare Marine has appointed Paine as the new Italian distributor for the brand, responsible for the Italian market.

Paine, which was founded over 35 years ago, is a marine distributor that supplies leisure and technical equipment to naval and industrial electronic customers.

Paine’s owner Luigi Bianchi comments: “We have always aimed to represent high-end brands, and Shakespeare Marine is exactly that. We are already getting stuck in and are looking forward to offering our customers the Shakespeare Marine product range.”

Bianchi says Paine now has plans to expand distribution via its established relationships with chandlery outlets nationwide.

Dave Manasseh, European sales manager for Shakespeare Marine, says: “We are delighted to announce Paine as our new Italian distributor. The brand has an impressive portfolio of contacts and connections, and we look forward to sharing the new opportunities together. It’s an exciting time for both of our companies.”

In December, Shakespeare Marine reported its largest order for the Asian market, totalling nearly a quarter of a million US dollars.
