Smartgyro appoints SV Servizi as dealer in Italy
Italy-headquartered gyro stabilisation company Smartgyro has expanded its dealer network in Italy by appointing SV Servizi as a certified dealer.
SV Servizi operates from locations in Livorno and Naples and has more than 20 years of experience in the marine industry. The firm will provide support, installation and after-sales service for Smartgyro’s marine stabilisation systems across the region.
“We are excited to welcome SV Servizi to our expanding dealer network,” says Carlo Gazerro, Smartgyro sales director. “This collaboration further enhances our ability to offer cutting-edge stabilisation solutions in key regions across Italy, while providing high-level technical support and a more widespread presence.”
SV Servizi has worked with Yanmar as a master dealer for 15 years and has represented Vetus for over ten years. These brands, along with Smartgyro, operate under the Yanmar Recreational Marine Business Unit, which supplies a range of marine products and services.
“Since the beginning of the year, we have invested in Smartgyro inventory and marketing activities. As a result, we have already completed several installations and are receiving very positive feedback,” says Armando Petrone, partner and sales manager at SV Servizi.
“We’re seeing growing interest from both private boat owners looking to improve comfort onboard, and from shipyards beginning to integrate Smartgyro systems into new builds. The Italian market is increasingly receptive to advanced technology solutions, especially when they enable fast, non-invasive installations.”
Smartygyro’s Italy dealer, SV Servizi, has recently completed installations of two Smartgyro SG20 stabilisers. The systems can be retrofitted without significant structural modifications, which supports use in both refit and new build projects.
In a statement, SV Servizi says it identifies growth potential in the mid-size boat segment, between 35 and 60 feet, and expects demand to rise as the stabiliser market develops further.
