Socially distanced live concert takes place in Lymington

Berthon Lymington Marina hosted an innovative music concert on Friday 7th August. Utilising the naturally distanced layout of being onboard, 300 berth holders were able to attend the ticketed event to hear Gavin & Inchley and the rest of the All Stars Band.

‘As the evening progressed, there was dancing on board boats up and down the pontoons. Clapping, whooping and horns rang out across the marina as songs finished,’ says a company statement. 

“There was a unique atmosphere and the sounds of ships horns (including the ferry) up and down the marina at night was an amazing spectacle. A unique and privileged experience that we’ll remember forever,” says one attendee.

Berthon was delighted that the pilot event was so well received and is already planning future events.
