The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show 2025 kicks off this Friday (9th) and runs through to Sunday 11 May.
Held at MDL Marina’s flagship Ocean Village Marina, the event will showcase a broad line-up of new launches from international power and sail brands.
This year’s show includes several world, UK and show debuts:
World debut – Hardy 45 European

Making its world debut is the Hardy 45 European, introduced by Cornish boatbuilder Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding.
The new model combines ocean-going performance with comfort and suitability for inland cruising. Based on the Hardy 42 semi-displacement hull by Andrew Wolstenholme, the design prioritises seakeeping and handling across a range of conditions.
Key features include a saloon and galley, full-beam aft stateroom with king-size bed, forward guest cabin and an aft deck helm with extensive visibility. Twin Yanmar 440hp engines deliver up to 28 knots and efficient cruising.
“Our all-new Hardy 45 European provides a luxurious and secure environment for long-distance cruising,” says founder and sales director, Dave Cockwell. “But if you prefer the smoother waters of canals and rivers, then she is the perfect vessel for those kinds of voyages, too.
“We’re delighted to unveil her to the world at the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show – an event that celebrates innovation and craftsmanship.”
UK debuts – Bente28

The Bente28 makes its UK debut at the 2025 show. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk, the 8.65-metre sailing yacht offers a near 3-metre beam, creating notable internal volume and layout flexibility. The IMOCA-style dodger adds shelter while increasing headroom, light and ventilation below.
Built for performance and ease of handling, the yacht includes twin rudders and accommodates up to six people, with a cockpit and cabin suited to day sailing, cruising or short stays. It includes a saloon, functional galley and adaptable berths.
Hein Kuiper, founder of Small Yacht Company, says: “The Bente28 redefines compact cruising by blending cutting-edge design with practical comfort, offering an unparalleled sailing experience in its class.”
Delta 33 Coupé

Exhibited by SE Yachts, the Delta 33 Coupé appears for the first time in the UK. This Swedish motor cruiser features a twin-stepped, air-supported deep-V hull designed for efficient performance, with a top speed exceeding 40 knots.
Inside, it includes two cabins, a convertible sunroof and Scandinavian-inspired detailing. The layout suits both day trips and weekend cruising.
“The Delta 33 Coupé brings together performance, design and functionality,” says Simon Rosier, director of SE Yachts. “We think it’s going to be a real highlight of the show.”
Axopar 29 Sun Top

The Axopar 29 Sun Top also premieres in the UK. A recent addition to Axopar’s next-generation line-up, the model is designed for day boating, watersports and coastal cruising, with a focus on handling and modularity.
Its distinctive Sun Top provides overhead cover while maintaining open-air access, and the twin-step hull enhances efficiency and ride comfort across varied conditions.
“We’re thrilled to present the Axopar 29 Sun Top to UK buyers,” says Kim Lumley at Axopar London Group. “It embodies everything Axopar stands for – fun, safety and quality – wrapped in a highly functional and stylish package.”
Saxdor 340 GTWA

Ideal Boat brings the Saxdor 340 GTWA for its UK debut. This all-weather walkaround model features expansive decks, large side terraces and a flexible interior.
The wheelhouse includes panoramic glazing and sliding doors for an indoor-outdoor feel, while below deck, a double forward cabin and aft berth support overnight stays.
“The Saxdor 340 GTWA is all about combining adventure and comfort in one sleek, user-friendly package,” says Neville Williams, managing director at Ideal Boat.
Show debuts – Hanse 360

Presented by Inspiration Marine, the Hanse 360 makes its show debut following its recognition as European Yacht of the Year 2025 in the family cruiser category.
Designed by Berret-Racoupeau, the model includes soft chines and hydrodynamic shaping, with optional two- or three-cabin layouts. On deck, features like an optional cockpit BBQ and fridge enhance comfort, while Elvstrøm’s SPS sails – made from recycled materials – are available for buyers prioritising sustainability.
“We’re excited to present the Hanse 360 at this year’s show. It’s a yacht that brings together performance, elegance and environmental responsibility in one beautifully crafted package,” says Phil Dollin, director at Inspiration Marine.
Fjord 39 XL

Also from Inspiration Marine, the Fjord 39 XL combines a full-width T-top with open-plan deck spaces, wet bar and convertible sunpad seating. The interior includes a double cabin, separate heads and a shower.
With twin Volvo Penta D6 engines providing up to 880hp, the vessel is built for day cruising and overnight stays.
“The Fjord 39 XL is the epitome of effortless luxury on the water,” says James Stone, director of Inspiration Marine.
Absolute 47 Fly

Approved Boats will also debut the Absolute 47 Fly, a flybridge cruiser with capacity for six guests and a contemporary interior.
The flybridge includes a BBQ station, helm and sunpads, while the bow and aft decks provide additional outdoor spaces. Below deck, light-filled interiors are designed around ergonomic principles.
“We’re proud to showcase the Absolute 47 Fly at this year’s South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show,” says David O’Rourke, managing director at Approved Boats. “It’s a yacht that delivers exceptional space, comfort and technology in one beautifully crafted vessel.”
Commenting on the 2025 edition, Tim Mayer, sales and marketing director at MDL Marinas, says: “Each year the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show grows in scale and significance, and 2025 is no exception.
“With a strong line-up of new launches – from sailing yachts to eco-conscious motorboats – we’re pleased to host an event that reflects the changing priorities of the marine industry.”
All featured boats will be available to view in the show’s marina, alongside over 90 vessels exhibited on the water and onshore around the Harbour Hotel Southampton.
Prospective buyers can arrange dedicated viewings by booking in advance.
