Yachting and maritime consultancy, Sovren, is joining the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) as a sustaining member.

Sovren provides expert guidance on marine infrastructure projects, shore-based support and operational strategy and will be joining the ICOMIA Marinas Group.

Currently, Sovren is involved in major projects across China, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other parts of the Middle East, shaping the future of marina developments, superyacht hubs and commercial marine infrastructure. These projects focus on enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability and economic growth, ensuring that each development serves both the luxury yachting sector and the wider maritime industry.

Beyond consultancy, Sovren also offers a full suite of yacht services, including operational and charter management, charter, sales and crew recruitment.

Founder and CEO of Sovren, Stephen White, comments: “Becoming a member of ICOMIA is a proud moment for myself and a natural progression for our company as we continue to expand our global presence. As we focus on key regions such as the Red Sea, we remain dedicated to providing the superyacht industry with a comprehensive range of services tailored to enhance the yachting experience. Our commitment extends beyond service provision; we aim to set new standards for excellence in marina and marine infrastructure. With these dynamic and rapidly developing cruising areas emerging as premier yachting destinations, we are devoted to supporting their growth by delivering world-class solutions that meet the evolving requirements of the locations themselves, the yacht owners, operators, and marina developers.”

Joe Lynch, chief executive officer of ICOMIA, says: “We are delighted to welcome Sovren as a sustaining member. We feel certain that they will have a lot to offer the ICOMIA Marinas Group in terms of marina standards, the superyacht sector and the yachting experience as a whole, and we very much look forward to working with them”.
