Sunbrella expands marine vinyl range with focus on performance and durability

Sunbrella is expanding its Horizon marine vinyl collection with a focus on performance and durability, unveiling 14 new colours and a leather-grain texture called Tuscano.
The expansion, which brings the Horizon line to a total of 47 SKUs, is aimed squarely at marine manufacturers and boat owners looking for materials that resist fading, pinking, and cold-cracking while offering a broader design palette.
“We’re excited to continue to expand our Sunbrella Horizon line with these new textures and colours that were developed with feedback from customers to meet the needs of the marine market,” says Charlie Withers, general manager, shade and marine at Sunbrella.
The new Tuscano texture is available in two leather-inspired neutrals: Cognac and Cedar. Tuscano joins the existing lineup of textures — Capriccio, Sorrento and Textil — and is suitable for high-contact applications such as captain’s chairs, sun pads and passenger seating. Tuscano is said to blend aesthetics with functionality, offering four-way stretch for better seat shaping, easy cleanability, and durability against the harsh marine environment.
Plus Sunbrella is introducing 12 new colour options in existing textures:
• Capriccio (lightly pebbled texture): Bordeaux, Biscuit, Sandstone, Putty, Fog, Hazy Blue, Harbor Mist, Indigo, Lagoon
• Sorrento (dual-emboss woven effect): Indigo
• Textil (linen-style texture): Storm, Black
All Sunbrella Horizon vinyls feature UV-stable pigments and are engineered to resist microbial pinking — a common issue in marine upholstery caused by bacterial growth.
Backed by the Sunbrella warranty, the range is targeted at both OEMs and individual fabricators, with availability for manufacturers already in place. The range will be open from early January 2026 for consumers and fabricators.
