Sunreef Yachts is gearing up for the grand opening of its new shipyard in the UAE, with the first manufacturing halls at Ras Al Khaimah now operational.

The firm, which has a manufacturing hub in Poland, says the first manufacturing halls in the city of Ras Al Khaimah are equipped with the latest robotics.

The firm says major investments are planned for its Middle East operations, including the construction of two production halls, which will facilitate the construction of yachts over 80ft. The facility should see a fifty per cent increase in its human resources by mid-2024.

Sunreef says its new Ras Al Khaimah shipyard, which has been planned in response to rising demand from the Middle East, Asia and Australia, will meet the highest requirements in terms of technology and sustainability.

The first units to be produced by Sunreef Yachts in the Emirates will be the Ultima catamarans range. This new range, recently introduced by the company, will comprise models such as the Ultima 44, 55, 66, 77 and 88.
