Sunseeker sets record at Bournemouth Air Festival

Showcasing its boating heritage earlier this month at the Bournemouth Air Festival, Sunseeker brought together a record number of its new and classic boats. Just under 40 boats sailed through the Marine Exclusion Zone in front of spectators.

“We are delighted to bring together a record number of Sunseeker’s at this year’s Bournemouth Air Festival,” says Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International. “The event truly was a celebration of Sunseeker’s past and present.”

Jon Weaver, Bournemouth Air Festival director, comments: “What a fantastic spectacle we saw with a flotilla of Sunseekers through the ages parading between the piers, particularly with the additional last minute appearance from Pip Hare being an added bonus.

“It was great to have the support of Sunseeker this year.

“Along with the new Atlas Elektronik UK STEM marquee on the East Overcliff and the Dorset EMC STEM Breakfast, Sunseeker’s maritime contribution has certainly helped shape the festival’s future STEM involvement.”

The boats on display included: a Sovereign Hostess 17, Sport 23, Offshore 25 and 28, Monterey 27, Mexico 24, Mohawk 29, Hawk 31, Offshore 31, Portofiono 31, 32, 34, 36, 375 and 47, Remo 33, Martinique 36, Tomahawk 37, Superhawk 37, 40 and 43, Mustique 42, Thunderhawk 43, Manhattan 52 ans 65, Predator 60 EVO and a 75 Yacht.
