Sunstream launches new boat lift accessories range

Sunstream Boat Lifts has launched a range of boat lift accessories for the new SunLift SLX, including guide ons and a goal post bow stop.

The new products are all based on a shape which the company calls a ‘sqround’. According to Sunstream the, not square, not round, sqround extrusion combines the best of both qualities with smooth curves yet enough edges to keep telescoping sections from spinning out of alignment, as well as doubling the strength of the accessories.

The new goal post bow stop accessory supports the bow being nudged correctly to the centre, and gives the user a visual reference for correctly placing the boat fore and aft on the lift. A waterline band on the bow stop also gives a visual reference for the correct height of the lift when loading.

The V-shaped beam that stops the boat is shaped to direct the bow inward, which Sunstream says is a significant advancement over the typical hoop-style stops that tend to push the bow off centre.

The adjustable height guide ons have a ribbed, scratch and stain resistant rubber exterior that matches the rubber bunks of Sunstream lifts, and are said to offer more forgiving contact against the boat for less wear and tear on the vessel compared to traditional PVC.

“We are continually striving to make the entire boat lift experience easier and more enjoyable,” says Ken Hey, CEO of Sunstream Boat Lifts. “Our new guide on and bow stop accessories are designed to enhance the aesthetic of the SunLift SLX, while improving the functionality, durability and assembly time of our products. In addition, they are intended to be as unobtrusive as possible, displaying more of the boat, while understating the lift. We are confident that new and existing owners will be pleased with the ease of use.”
