Technohull sells seven Omega 47s off plan

Technohull, makers of the new Omega 47, has revealed it’s already sold seven units despite a soft launch. Six of the high-performance sports boats are staying in the central Mediterranean, while one is already in the US.

Technohull says its ‘breathtaking’ new Omega 47 seamlessly combines a superyacht finish with sporty performance. The new flagship is slightly longer and broader in the beam than the Omega 45, to offer a flexible deck space and a comfortable interior. The cabin’s volume allows a double V-berth, and a full-height shower and heads compartment.

Options include two 600hp Mercury Verado outboards – which feature a steerable underwater gearcase, saving space on deck with fixed powerheads says Technohull. But the versatile transom can service four 450hp outboards.

The company says that the Omega 47 is a ‘true sports boat’ with performance exceeding 80 knots. It utilises Technohull’s patented Dynastream hull design which was developed over five years to provide lift, natural cushioning and stability at all speeds from a hyper-ventilated hull shape. Its deep-V hull form also makes the Omega 47 a dry boat, says its makers, deflecting spray and cutting through waves.
