Sea Ventures names Jeanneau Yacht sales manager
UK-based brokerage Sea Ventures has announced the return of Tom Edgington as Jeanneau Yacht sales manager. Edgington will oversee the Jeanneau Sail Division, managing new and used sailboat sales.
His responsibilities extend across the company’s UK offices in Swanwick, Hampshire and Dartmouth, Devon, as well as supporting the development of global sales for the brand, which is owned by Groupe Beneteau, which recently reported on its ‘very solid financial position’.
Edgington previously worked with Sea Ventures for 11 years until 2022, and now returns to the company after a break from the marine industry. Raised near Hayling Island Sailing Club, he has a lifelong connection to sailing and extensive experience in the new boat and brokerage markets, having worked in both the UK marine market and Australian marine sector.
“Tom’s experience is second-to-none. His return is a pivotal appointment for us, and we are delighted that he accepted the role,” says Tim Harley, sales director. “His presence will no doubt support our continual desire to evolve and expand.
