Top new yachts at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026
Riva 96 Argo Super As the marine industry prepares for one of the key events on the boating calendar – the Cannes Yachting Festival – MIN runs down the top new yachts making their debut at this year’s show.
For the 2026 edition, around 535 new motorboats from 3 to 50 metres long are expected, including nearly 120 world premieres.
Azimut Grande 44: the largest Azimut ever built
Azimut’s new flagship, the Grande 44M, is set to make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival with seven units already sold. Designed by Alberto Mancini, the four-deck superyacht measures 43.6m.
Carbon fibre accounts for more than 50 per cent of the construction and is the cornerstone of the project: reducing the overall weight of the superstructure allowing for a four-deck architecture. The fourth deck houses the wheelhouse and thus frees the upper deck of all technical spaces, transforming it into an entire deck dedicated to the owner with private terraces.
Aft, the yacht features a mezzanine deck with a ‘sea view terrace’ and a transparent glass-bottom plunge pool illuminating the beach club below. Inside, interiors by m²atelier focus on flexible, luxury living, highlighted by a versatile bow area that converts into a 12-person veranda, private media room, or guest lounge framing 180° views.
As the newest flagship of the company’s low emission fleet, Azimut claims the Grande 44M cuts CO2 emissions by up to 30 per cent compared to traditional yachts of similar size. This efficiency is driven by a ‘dual mode’ hull and a lightweight carbon-fiber Hull Vane foil developed with Hull Vane, designed to offer lower consumption and extended generator-free hotel operation. The vessel pairs 30 square metres of solar panels with an advanced mild hybrid system and up to a 230kWh battery bank. The setup allows for 3 to 10 hours of completely silent hotel mode operation with generators off, fully recharging in two hours while cruising at 15 knots.
Azimut Seadeck 9: hybrid icon emerges
Serving as the 26-metre flagship of Azimut’s hybrid-ready series, the Seadeck 9 represents the largest model constructed at the shipyard’s Avigliana facility following a €50 million development investment. Designed by Alberto Mancini with interiors by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, the vessel focuses on open-plan living and low-emission cruising.
Alberto Mancini’s exterior layout transitions the brand’s ‘Fun Island’ concept into a multi-tiered 180° pool deck at the stern, featuring symmetrical terraces, opening lateral wings, a flush-deck plunge pool with glass views, and a 7-sqm hydraulic transformer swim platform.
Below, an eco-resort-inspired master suite features open spa elements alongside a VIP cabin, two guest cabins, and dedicated crew quarters.
According to Azimut, the yacht is constructed with 40 per cent carbon fibre and a high-efficiency planing hull developed with Names. It’s powered by triple Volvo Penta IPS engines. A 60kWh lithium battery pack runs core onboard amenities – including air conditioning, stabilisers, and entertainment – in complete silence for up to four hours by day or eight hours at night.
Custom Line Navetta 35: expansive living over three decks
The Custom Line Navetta 35 will be one of the largest international debuts at Cannes 2026, offering Italian design with generous volumes and the utmost comfort. With the exterior designed by Filippo Salvetti and the interior by ACPV Architects, the layout accommodates ten guests in five cabins, including a main-deck owner’s suite.
The yacht features light-filled spaces over three decks, designed to enhance liveability while preserving privacy. Three units were already sdold before the first hull hit the water in May 2026.
Pershing GTX90: 35 knot sport utility addition
Pershing expands its GTX range by introducing this sport utility yacht to its 90 to 100ft portfolio.
Measuring 27.97 metres and with a beam of 6.89 metres, the Pershing GTX90 has been jointly created by Vallicelli Design studio and the group’s engineering department. The new model began life at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility, with construction completed in the new Mondolfo production area where the GTX range is built.
Extending across two decks and a sportbridge, Pershing GTX90 can accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins. According to Pershing, the 33-square-metre sportsbridge is 43 per cent larger than the average for yachts of a similar size.
The expansive double garage can accomodate both a Williams 395 SportJet and a Sea-Doo Spark Trixx, leaving the aft deck free for waterside enjoyment. Twin 2,200hp MAN V12X engines drive Castoldi waterjets, with claimed cruising speed of 30 knots and a and 35-knot maximum.
Princess X90: Expandable beach club and new hull architecture headline debut
Positioned between the X80 and flagship X95 Vista, the all-new Princess X90 will make its Cannes world debut, alongside the yard’s flagship Y95.
The X90 introduces several firsts for Princess. Most notably, it is the first Princess yacht to feature fold-down balconies to both port and starboard cockpit bulwarks, creating an expandable beach club-style cockpit designed to increase usable outdoor space and strengthen the connection to the water.
Building on the infinity cockpit concept first introduced on the Y85 and Y80, the design incorporates a glass transom balustrade and low-level cockpit arrangement to provide uninterrupted 180-degree views astern.
Twin MAN V12X-2200 engines deliver a claimed top speed of 27 knots. Below deck, accommodation comprises three en-suite guest cabins as standard, with the option of a five-cabin layout featuring four guest cabins in addition to the owner’s suite.
Curved glass patio doors provide a brand-first feature, connecting the aft cockpit to the ten-person interior dining space.
Riva 96’ Argo Super: Riva to debut redesigned layout
Making its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the 28.79-metre Riva 96’ Argo Super represents a major evolution of the popular 90’ Argo flybridge model. Built at Ferretti Group’s La Spezia shipyard, this updated vessel – designed in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design – features redesigned aft and beach areas, restructured interior layouts engineered to maximise space and natural light, and a revised lower deck intended to make better use of its 6.5m beam.
The yacht introduces several notable layout and technical enhancements designed to improve liveability across both decks:
- Redesigned beach and cockpit: The revised stern incorporates a garage door with an integrated sunpad that houses a Williams 435 tender and jet ski. The hydraulic swim platform lift, combined with a cockpit featuring adjustable sofa backrests and built-in refrigeration, transforms the aft deck into a versatile water-level lounge.
- Expanded accommodation: Adding a day head to the main deck is designed to free up lower-deck volume, allowing for either a standard layout with a full-beam VIP cabin, or an optional four-cabin configuration (three VIPs and one twin).
- Advanced navigation and comfort tech: Equipped with twin 2,000 HP MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines, the vessel features Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers (NG18 and NG10), the Watchit collision prevention system, and Xenta X-AID maneuvering technology with a virtual anchor setup.
On the main deck, the initial unit utilises an inverted saloon layout with dining situated aft and the main lounge forward to strengthen indoor-outdoor continuity. Above, the flybridge is refreshed with a new bar unit and mahogany-topped dining tables, completing an exterior-focused layout.
Sanlorenzo SHE: 1960s style, hybrid propulsion
SHE is a standalone, limited-production yacht from Sanlorenzo, designed in collaboration with Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners. The 25.5m Heritage model is inspired by the 1960s Italian yacht design.
Beneath that deliberately retro profile lies a significant technical milestone: SHE is Sanlorenzo’s first yacht to feature Volvo Penta’s IPS hybrid system. Twin 160kW electric motors enable silent, zero-emission cruising at seven knots, reaching top speeds of up to 11 knots under electric power alone. With five units sold prior to her official debut, the model’s combination of heritage styling and modern propulsion has clearly struck a chord with buyers ahead of her Cannes debut.
Sirena 118: 36m flagship marks new territory for the yard
Joining the most exciting new yachts at Cannes is the Sirena 118, noted as the largest GRP yacht Sirena has built and signalling start of its larger composite yacht line.
By inaugurating a new generation of composite superyachts, Sirena Yachts affirms its ambitions in the large boat segment. Designed by Germán Frers, with interiors by Cor D. Rover, the Sirena 118 combines generous volumes, contemporary lines and great freedom in the fit-out to create a very comfortable setting for long cruises.
The Sirena 118 is the Turkish boatbuilder’s largest GRP model to date and joins the Sirena Superyachts 42M as part of the shipyard’s expansion into the larger yacht segment.
Sunreef Yachts Ultima 88
The Ultima 88 represents the latest evolution in Sunreef’s multihull range. Built at the shipyard’s facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, the catamaran is engineered to bridge the gap between monohull and multihull performance. The yacht design aims to combine the agility, speed, and sleek profile of a traditional monohull with the enhanced stability, shallow draft, and interior volumes of a power catamaran. Highlighting its broad market appeal, Spanish tennis champion Carlos Alcaraz has already selected the model as his first yacht.
The yacht features an Ocean Lounge – equipped with expansive fold-down bulwark balconies and a large aft garage, the stern transforms into a wide, open-air beach club directly on the water’s edge.
The Ultima 88 will lead Sunreef’s motor yacht display alongside the 100 Sunreef Power and 80 Sunreef Power, while the brand’s sailing range – including the Sunreef 60, 70, and 80 – will be showcased separately at Porto Canto.
Sunseeker Manhattan 94
Outdoor space is a central focus: an expansive flybridge connects seamlessly to the foredeck via walkaround side decks, while the beach club incorporates Sunseeker’s transforming X-Tend sunbed and a garage sized for a Williams SportJet 395. Powered by twin 1,600hp MTU engines, the yacht claims a top speed of 26 knots and a range of 1,255 nautical miles at ten knots. Highlighting strong early demand, Sunseeker has confirmed that construction is already underway on the second hull in the series, which has already been sold.
Sunseeker’s interim CEO sat down with MIN to discuss the roadmap ahead for the brand, which has experienced has a difficult period involving challenging market conditions, a series of ownership changes, Andrea Frabetti’s move from CEO in November 2025 and a teak scandal.
Cannes Yachting Festival schedule 2026
The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 takes place from 8–13 September across the Vieux Port and Port Canto. With more than 700 vessels on display – spanning high-performance day boats to composite superyachts – this year’s event underlines a strong industry focus on hybrid efficiency, flexible outdoor layouts, and expanded onboard volumes.
