The Trafalgar Group has announced it has completed the installation of a large scale solar power system at Trafalgar Wharf, Portsmouth, UK.

Situated on top of the Trafalgar Drystack building, the new installation has a capacity of 640kW and has been generating power since the end of March 2023.

Serving as a sustainable energy source for the various buildings and businesses within the Trafalgar Wharf site, the Trafalgar Group says this initiative demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and its dedication to reducing its carbon footprint while supporting the local community’s transition towards a greener future.

Managing director of the Trafalgar Group, Jonny Boys, says: “The new solar installation not only benefits our clients and the businesses on-site but also aligns with the Portsmouth area’s aspirations for a greener future.”

The Trafalgar Group comprises a collection of businesses operating in the leisure boating, commercial shipyard, and property sectors, with services including The Trafalgar Drystack, Boat Club Trafalgar, RIBs For Sale and Trafalgar Commercial Shipyard.
