Voting opens for 2025 TYHA Marina Awards

A large group of seating and standing award winners hold up their certificates at TYHA's awards ceremony in association with British Marine

Voting is now live for the 2025 TYHA Marina Awards. Organised by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) and sponsored by Haven Knox-Johnston, the awards recognise excellence across the global marina industry – and boaters are invited to cast their votes.

Open to all Gold Anchor-accredited marinas (a global marina accreditation designed to improve marina standards and the experience of marina users), the annual awards celebrate customer service, environmental stewardship, and the teams and individuals who go above and beyond to make every berth count.

There are eight award categories in 2025:

  • Coastal Marina of the Year (under 250 berths)
  • Coastal Marina of the Year (over 250 berths)
  • Inland Marina of the Year
  • International Marina of the Year
  • Superyacht Marina of the Year
  • Marina Team of the Year
  • Sustainable Marina of the Year
  • Marina Employee of the Year

To nominate a marina employee, voters should include the individual’s full name, marina and a brief explanation of why they deserve to win. (Note: verbal consent must be obtained before nominating an individual.)

TYHA Awards

Votes close at midnight on 29 August 2025, and winners will be revealed at the Southampton International Boat Show on Wednesday 24 September at 4pm, on the new Boating Academy Stage.

Votes are weighted based on the number of berths at each marina, ensuring fairness across the board. For the Employee of the Year, Team of the Year and Sustainable Marina of the Year categories, a judging panel will review all feedback submitted to determine the winner.

For more information about the awards and details of how to cast your vote, visit the British Marine website.

TYHA is a group association of British Marine, supporting marina businesses and promoting high standards through expert guidance, training and accreditation. It manages the Gold Anchor Scheme, Clean Marina Awards and Which Marina directory.
