UK & Ireland distributor for Velair Air Conditioning
Marathon Leisure, the trade-only distributor supplying the marine leisure market, has been named as the exclusive distributor for Velair Air Conditioning Systems in the UK & Ireland.
Designed and manufactured in Italy, Velair offers both self-contained all-in-one and chiller modular systems. The systems use inverter-driven technology, designed to ensure a very low power consumption which makes them very efficient.
The self-contained air conditioning units come with a thin touch-controlled control panel. Users can also control the air conditioning via Wi-Fi using the dedicated phone app.
The systems have a reverse cycle function, which means in colder weather, they will work as a heater and use brushless fans and twin rotary compressors for quieter running.
Alliance Marine acquired distributor Marathon Leisure in 2021 to consolidate positions in the UK recreational boating market.

Velair units come with a prewired electrical box and cable bundle that allows optimal positioning around the unit, giving the installer easy access to connect the power input and water pump wiring.
The various size units available make them suitable for any size boat, from a small cabin cruiser up to a large yacht.
