VIDEO: Humpback whale gives catamaran a ‘kiss of approval’
A whale-watching boat crew has captured footage of a humpback whale giving the bottom of a catamaran a ‘kiss’ off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
Australia-based Blue Dolphin Marine Tours posted the video on its Facebook page after the sighting.
In the post, Blue Dolphin Marine Tours wrote: “A pretty cool female just checking out the tunnel of Blue Dolphin and then giving us her kiss of approval.”
The company hosts whale watching and sea life tours in Queensland, Australia.
The mammal was spotted going underneath the vessel by passengers onboard. According to FTW Outdoors, captain Peter Lynch says the passengers “watched her gently going under the vessel and going vertically in there. We were on the back steps looking in up along the tunnel.”
