Viken Group appoints new chief executive

Anna Silvesjö has been appointed as the chief executive officer of Viken Group. Silvesjö moves into the CEO position after having previously holding roles as partner and group chief financial officer at the firm.
Viken Group is a yacht supplier based in Sweden, which comprises three brands: TDoS (Tillberg Design of Sweden), Hot Lab and Thalia Marine — the latter two of which are based in Italy. The group provides design, architecture and engineering services for cruise ships, superyachts and refit projects, from concept to delivery.
Silvesjö outlines her focus as expanding into new market segments, strengthening client partnerships and building employer branding.
“Viken Group will continue to expand into new market segments while deepening partnerships with clients through our on-brand design philosophy,” says Silvesjö. “Our design solutions align with each client’s brand identity, culture, and target audience. Design excellence, commercial success, and a strong culture of innovation and collaboration are central to our direction. We’re also placing a strong emphasis on employer branding to attract and retain top talent in the global marine design industry.”
Viken Group says that, in an industry where executive roles are still predominantly held by men, “Silvesjö represents a new generation of leadership.”
Silvesjö will also lead the development of Navigator, the group’s integrated, productised service platform. Navigator includes design, architecture, engineering and related disciplines and is positioned as a holistic solution for maritime project execution.
