Vortec Marine named exclusive European dealer for Hylas Yachts

UK-based yacht services and brokerage firm Vortec Marine has been appointed as the exclusive European dealer for the Taiwan-built brand Hylas Yachts.
The agreement gives Vortec Marine sole responsibility for Hylas sales and client support throughout Europe, leveraging the company’s established technical and brokerage expertise to grow the brand’s presence among long-range cruising and offshore sailing clients.
“Hylas Yachts’ reputation for building robust, beautifully crafted bluewater yachts aligns perfectly with Vortec’s commitment to excellence and customer care,” says Andy Huang, CEO of Hylas Yachts. “With the European cruising community increasingly seeking quality, performance, and pedigree, Vortec is the ideal partner to represent our brand and support our clients,” he adds.
Built at the Queen Long Marine shipyard in Taiwan, Hylas Yachts has developed a strong following among sailors seeking high-end performance cruisers capable of extended passages. The firm’s current lineup includes the flagship H57 sailing yacht, and the upcoming H52, which is currently in development. The motor yacht series has also gained attention for its long-range reliability and premium finish.
Operating from Swanwick Marina on the Hamble, Vortec Marine offers yacht sales, refit and maintenance services, and acts as official brokerage for several premium yacht builders. The team will provide comprehensive sales consultation, sea trials, and after-sales support for Hylas clients in Europe, with an H57 arriving imminently in the UK and an M44 motor yacht currently available for viewing.
“Joining forces with Hylas Yachts is a significant milestone for Vortec”, says Ross Collingwood, managing director of Vortec Marine. “We are passionate about bluewater sailing and providing clients with yachts that inspire confidence and adventure. Hylas Yachts embodies that spirit perfectly, and we’re thrilled to introduce these exceptional yachts to the European market,” he adds.
Vortec Marine’s appointment comes at a time of increasing demand for bluewater-capable yachts, driven by a growing appetite among European owners for self-sufficient platforms. Huang concludes: “This partnership heralds a new era for bluewater yachting in the region. With Vortec’s expertise and dedication, Hylas Yachts are set to make an even greater impact on European waters.”
