Evene Tender launch

Evene Tenders, sister brand to well-known Williams Jet Tenders, has unveiled its inaugural new superyacht tender range – the Origin Series. View the launch video below.

Evene’s Origin Series features a 5.7m and 7.1 model. The all-new Evene Origin 57 is the first model off the line, with the Origin 71 following later this year.

The launch of Evene Tenders signals a strategic move into the superyacht tender arena. The Origin 57 is designed for yachts over 30 metres and can accommodate up to nine passengers.

Both the Origin 57 and 71 feature a Petestep hull, a patented technology designed to minimise hydrodynamic resistance by harnessing spray energy. According to Evene, this innovation offers several key benefits, including a softer, quieter ride with improved overall efficiency and stability on the water.

Rather than launch at a boat show, Evene has chosen to focus on digital exposure and with a video launch. The Origin Series was launched via a video produced with YachtBuyer.

Evene Tenders sits under the Williams Marine Group and will operate independently of Williams Jet Tenders.

Powered by YANMAR 4LV diesel engines approved for HVO 100 fuel, the Origin 57 and 71 claim an impressive reduction in net CO2 emissions of up to 97 per cent compared to standard diesel*. The tenders feature a Raymarine Axiom 12in multifunction display with a depth sounder and chartplotter, a Fusion audio system, a custom Evene-stylised steering wheel and boarding pole, LED-illuminated footwells, and versatile accessory mounts designed to accommodate mountain bikes.

Origin Series from Evene

Oliver Browne, head of product development at Evene Tenders, explains the thinking behind the rigid boat design and the move away from RIB design.

“Evene is really aimed at serving our super yacht customers,” says Browne. “And with this product, what we’re able to do is give them space. Space to move around the boat, space to enjoy the ride and be comfortable and safe within the product. So without having those tubes on the side of the boat for the same overall package space, we gain so much more deck space.”

Evene Tenders was founded by brothers Mathew and John Hornsby, the team behind Williams Jet Tenders. With over 25 years of expertise, their latest venture focuses on ‘redefining craftsmanship and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of superyacht tenders’.

“The launch of the Origin Series is a proud milestone for our team at Evene Tenders,” says Mathew Hornsby, co-founder and commercial director. “It embodies the passion, craftsmanship, and innovation that our team has poured into this project. This tender is a testament to what can be achieved when tradition and exceptional design meet forward-thinking practices, and we are excited to see it set a new standard for sustainability and performance in the industry.”

The Origin Series is due to make its debut at Cannes and Monaco Yacht Show later this year.

Evene chooses YachtBuyer as launch platform

Jack Haines, reviews director at YachtBuyer, hosts the launch video alongside Browne.

“We know that YouTube has become the go-to resource for people to consume boating content and YachtBuyer has the biggest platform in the industry. Credit to Evene Tenders for embracing that and choosing to launch a new boat in this way.”

“We have a knowledgeable, engaged audience who appreciate the detail of a video like this,” says Haines. “This format allowed us to dig into the project, the product and Evene’s vision for this new line and show the boat off in an unusual environment. We like to push the boundaries and do things that other channels aren’t, so the idea of a studio shoot appealed to us.”

Kevin Bodington, CEO of Yachtbuyer, says: “YachtBuyer was created to restore trust, transparency and media-driven engagement to yacht sales. We work with brokers to ensure listings are legitimate, well-represented and backed by data. Through independent sea trial videos, detailed reviews and immersive 360° yacht video tours, we help educate serious buyers and push qualified demand toward your models and dealer network.”

Discussing how the collaboration came about, Haines says: “Evene liked the idea of doing a studio walkaround to launch the new boat (and brand) and felt that we had requisite experience, knowledge and production quality to bring it to life. The team approached us at the Düsseldorf Boat Show and we’ve been working on the collaboration since then.”

Williams announced plans to launch Evene Tenders earlier this month and the reasons behind the diversification.
