X-Yachts chooses Garmin for digital switching and monitoring

As part of a new collaboration, marine electronics manufacturer, Garmin, is supplying X-Yachts with digital switching and monitoring for the boatbuilder’s new XR 41 model, which will be premiered at boot Düsseldorf 2025.
Garmin marine electronics will now be standard on all new XR 41 models.
Pontus Fernstrom, EMEA marine segment director, Garmin explains: “We’re excited to announce that we can offer our wide range of premium digital switching and monitoring to the XR 41. This new collaboration marks the start of an exciting new chapter for both brands, uniting a shared passion for sailing and underscoring a commitment to enhancing the experiences of our global customers. We look forward to helping fulfil more passions on the water, and many race wins.”

According to the yard, after 45 years of X-Yachts racing history, the XR 41 marks a return to X-Yachts’ DNA. Optimised for offshore racing, the XR 41 has been developed with leading design teams and utilises advanced technology.
“X-Yachts is working with a very selective target group of yacht owners,” says X-Yachts CEO Kræn B. Nielsen. “This goes for all our models, and the new XR 41 not least. It is fundamental to cooperate with the best partners and suppliers in the ongoing work with the yachts, and it is in fact quite natural for us to choose Garmin in the XR 41 project.”
More than 6,000 X- Yachts have been sold to customers worldwide.
Other Garmin marine brands include Navionics, JL Audio and Lumishore.
