Yessss appoints US marketing director

Marine marketing and business consultancy firm Yessss has appointed Eve Verberne to head the North American market.

“As our business continues to grow, we recognised the need for someone with extensive marketing expertise to cater to our growing North American client base,” says Nona Pedersen, joint CEO of New Zealand-based Yessss.

Pedersen founded Yessss in March 2023.

Pedersen adds: “Having previously worked with Eve, I was certain that her capabilities and international marketing experience made her perfect for the role and our Yessss team. She has worked with marine distributors, dealers, shipyards and end users, enabling her to understand their needs.”

Verberne (pictured above) has previously worked in marketing roles at Oceanmax, and McKay in the marine and electrotechnology sector.

“I am eager to dive into the role as marketing director for North America,” says Verberne. “With my previous experience in marketing, both within and outside of the marine industry, I hope to bring fresh ideas and really drive results for our clients. I also look forward to contributing to the overall marketing strategy to grow the Yessss brand.”

In October, MIN reported that Yessss had appointed Matt Forbes as director of business development – EMEA as it expands in the region.
