Australian sailing apparel company Zhik has announced it will continue as the official technical partner of the United States SailGP team.

“We’re thrilled to deepen our partnership with the US SailGP team—a true trailblazer in the sailing world and an inspiring example for athletes across the globe,” says Johnny Rodgers, Zhik’s head of marketing and global sponsorship manager. “Equipping them with our cutting-edge Zhik gear, we’re committed to fuelling their relentless pursuit of excellence on the water. Together, we’re not only pushing the boundaries of performance but also building a brighter future for sailing, creating extraordinary opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of US athletes to reach for greatness.”

Six teams in the SailGP fleet chose Zhik performance apparel in the 2023 season — over half of all teams participating.

The US SailGP team, managed by Mike Buckley, Taylor Canfield, and Anna Weis, will wear Zhik’s technical apparel during the upcoming season, which launches in Dubai on 23-24 November 2024. This collaboration will also see the Zhik logo featured on the team’s F50 catamaran.
