Panellists announced for Women in Marine event at METSTRADE

The panellists for the 2023 Women in the Marine Industry International event at METSTRADE have been announced by the organisers, METSTRADE, British Marine, Marine Industry News and Soundings Trade Only.

Michele Goldsmith, vice president and general manager of the Soundings Trade Only Group, will moderate the panel of dynamic women, which includes:

  • Gemma Gonzalez, Yachting Business Unit director, Gruppo Boero 
  • Laurie Louvier, vice president marketing, Dometic
  • Michelle Hildyard, vice president product management & business development, Raymarine 
  • Nicky Vaux, partner & business development manager, Empire Marinas Group, and host of The Boat Princess podcast 
  • Rachel Bridges, director & general manager, Cummins, Global Marine.

‘The panel is comprised of an exceptional group of female leaders from across the globe who work in a variety of marine sectors with a broad range of experience and expertise. We look forward to an empowering, informative, insightful, and engaging conversation,’ the organisers said in a statement.

Women in the Marine industry

The Women in the Marine Industry International event at METSTRADE will take place Wednesday 16 November, 8:30 – 10:30am in the Elicium Theatre at the RAI Amsterdam.

Open to all METSTRADE visitors and exhibitors, the doors to the Women in the Marine event will open at 8:15am for registered attendees with a METSTRADE badge. It will commence with a light breakfast followed by the industry panel discussion and finish with an opportunity to network.

The event is free and all genders are welcome. The organisers recommend that attendees register early to avoid disappointment as last year’s event exceeded maximum capacity.
