Numarine takes direct control of Americas sales

Turkish explorer yacht builder Numarine has opened an office in Fort Lauderdale to handle its own representation in the Americas. Ali Tanir, head of Numarine Americas, leads the team, which will work with all brokers and brokerage houses rather than through an exclusive representative.

Owners and prospective clients can now deal directly with the shipyard through the office, as can brokers.

“No single broker house acts as Numarine’s representative in the region, and any broker with a client interested in our yachts is welcome to get in touch with the Fort Lauderdale office,” says Tanir. “We would like to thank our previous exclusive partner in the region, Denison, for the work done together over the years. We are in conversation with a number of broker houses, Denison among them, about future partnerships.”

The Americas and Türkiye account for Numarine’s largest client group. The firm says this new arrangement gives clients in the Americas the same direct access to the builder as those in its home market.

Patrik von Sydow, CEO of Numarine, says: “The Americas, together with Türkiye, make up Numarine’s largest client group, and the new office is designed to give that market the same direct access to the shipyard that owners in our home country already have. With our own office and our own team in Fort Lauderdale, owners and brokers speak to the shipyard directly.”

The office’s remit extends beyond Florida to the wider Americas region. Tanir says the team plans to reach clients and brokers in every US state.

“Fort Lauderdale is where much of the industry is based, so it was the obvious place for us. But at the same time this office is not just for Florida. We will be reaching clients and brokers in every state and we’re looking forward to establishing new connections.”
