Allgon appoints Maria Lexe as chief technology and product officer Maria Lexe joins Allgon as chief technology and product officer

Swedish industrial radio control manufacturer Allgon has appointed Maria Lexe as chief technology and product officer, a newly created position that brings together responsibility for technology and product strategy.

The appointment follows a restructuring of Allgon’s leadership responsibilities, with technology and product management now overseen through a single executive role.

The company has confirmed the departure of Claes Seth, who had served as chief technology officer since September 2024.

Lexe joins Allgon from Swedish automotive manufacturer Polestar, where she served as chief digital officer, responsible for digital strategy, IT, software, data and digital product development. Her background includes more than 20 years in senior leadership roles focused on technology, digital transformation and product development across the automotive and retail sectors.

She will be based in Gothenburg and will officially join the company on 8 June 2026.

“Allgon is delighted to welcome Maria to the leadership team,” says Linda Nyquist-Evenrud, CEO of Allgon. “Her deep experience across technology and product leadership, combined with her track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation, makes her the ideal leader to take on this expanded and newly combined role. At the same time, sincere gratitude goes to Claes for everything he has contributed to Allgon. He has been a valuable member of the leadership team, and Allgon wishes him all the best in the next chapter.”

Allgon develops and manufactures industrial radio-controlled systems used across various sectors, including remote-control solutions for shipping, offshore environments, and crane and winch operations. Its brand portfolio includes Tele Radio, Sistematica and Åkerströms.
