Metro Marine Lighting has introduced its new Full-Spectrum Thru Hull Light Fixture designed to deliver high-output illumination and long-term reliability for both recreational and commercial vessels.

The company, known for its marine lighting solutions with anti-biofouling and anti-condensation technologies, says the Full-Spectrum Thru Hull Light Fixture delivers exceptional illumination, superior color quality and unmatched long-term reliability.

Designed for flush-mounted thru-hull installation, the new fixture features Metro Marine’s patented UVC anti-biofouling technology, which is designed to continuously prevent marine growth from forming on the fixture’s lens, ensuring consistent light output while significantly reducing maintenance requirements. The fixture also incorporates Metro Marine’s patented assembly method that eliminates internal condensation – two of the leading causes of underwater lighting performance degradation.

The company also recently launched the F-Series Full Spectrum Underwater Lights.

“The Full-Spectrum Thru Hull Light Fixture represents everything Metro Marine Lighting stands for – innovation, performance and dependability,” says Daniel Deutsch, president of Metro Marine Lighting. “We’ve addressed the biggest challenges boat owners face with underwater lighting by combining our patented anti-biofouling and condensation-prevention technologies with industry leading full-spectrum RGBW performance. The result is a fixture that not only delivers stunning visual impact, but continues performing at the highest level season after season.”

Constructed with an aluminium bronze housing for long-term submersion, the unit features intelligent thermal monitoring to protect system longevity in demanding marine environments. The IP68- and IP69K-rated fixture integrates with Metro Marine’s Full Spectrum Hub and MM-CC-V1 Control Centre, offering unified power and data control. The platform is both Garmin OneHelm and NMEA 2000-certified for seamless integration with onboard electronics.

According to Metro Marine, unlike conventional RGB lighting systems, its full-spectrum RGBW technology delivers dynamic colour blending and richer, more vibrant colours while producing cleaner, higher-quality white light. With more than 15,500 lumens of white light output and over 54,000 total fixture lumens, the new fixture produces powerful underwater illumination with a close colour-mixing distance that eliminates visible color separation.

Earlier this year, Metro Marine introduced its new control system and app – the MM-CC-V1 enables control of a yacht’s lighting and electronics systems, including the capacity for 256 individual full-spectrum lighting fixtures, and 15 fully programmable preset visual scenes.

The Full-Spectrum Thru Hull Light Fixture is protected by multiple US and international patents, with additional patents pending.
