B&G® announces Zeus3S Glass Helm sailing system update

B&G’s Zeus3S Glass Helm multifunction display system is now available in 24-, 19- and 16-inch models and is said to give a clear overview of sailing and system data.

The Zeus3S Glass Helm can be purchased as a system pack (including a display, GPS, keypad and accessories) or a display-only pack.

Instant access to sailing and system information is available through the new iMX 8 integrated six-core processor. Custom helm layouts can be created to suit any activity and users can switch between layouts. It’s also possible to navigate charts and use sailing features such as RacePanel and SailSteer, while also viewing all connected systems, such as autopilot, radar and sonar.

The full high definition displays are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. Its wide viewing angles keep the screen visible, even when wearing polarised sunglasses.

The Zeus3S Glass Helm System Pack contains everything needed to start building a glass-helm system, including a ZC2 remote controller. The remote controller provides keypad control of up to six displays, ideal for a multi-display helm layout. The built-in wireless connectivity links Zeus3S Glass Helm to existing mobile devices for remote viewing and control, and delivers online software upgrades via wireless internet hotspots. Wired ethernet, NMEA 2000®, and J1939 networking provide multiple integration options, from vessel-wide display systems to radar, sonar and engine integration.
