Boat Trader’s boating series debuts on adventure TV channel

American boating marketplace, Boat Trader’s award-winning local boating series, Stomping Grounds, is debuting on outdoor adventure platform, Waypoint TV.

Taking a documentary style approach, each episode of the Stomping Grounds series explores a new geographic locale, delving deeply into the local boating styles, traditions and stories that are unique to the area. Host Ryan McVinney interviews boaters about their local culture, history and the types of vessels that they use, exploring what key features make them the ideal watercraft for their purposes.

“Stomping Grounds is all about exploring the diversity of boating stories and cultures across America. These stories are all connected by the love of the great outdoors, nature and being on the water,” says Ryan McVinney, director of content, Boats Group.  “We’re excited to share the series with a larger audience through our partnership with Waypoint TV and invite viewers to experience a special and truly unique way of life.”

The first three episodes travel to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Florida’s Panhandle region and Wilmington, North Carolina meeting a host of celebrated boaters, including Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line, Netflix’s Outer Banks creator Jonas Pate and legendary champion powerboat racer Reggie Fountain.

The following episodes dive further into American boating traditions as McVinney visits towns across the Southwest, Pacific Northwest and up to the great state of Alaska.
