Channel crossings and cruising France webinar

Haven-Knox Johnson webinar

Marine insurer Haven Knox-Johnston crew has confirmed details of the latest instalment in its ‘From The Helm’ webinar series, to be held on Thursday (25 January), offering guidance on channel crossings and cruising in France.

‘Crossing the Channel and Cruising Northern France’, presented in collaboration with the Cruising Association, is designed for all boaters, but particularly those who are new to international sailing and Channel crossings.

The Cruising Association’s Bob Garrett will offer his expert advice on the subject during the webinar. Garrett has served as Channel Secretary for the past seven years and regularly leads Cruises in Company across the Channel.

With his extensive Channel and North France sea miles, Garrett is well positioned to offer invaluable insights covering passage planning, necessary documentation, passage-making tips, popular places not to be missed, and more.

The webinar concludes with a live Q&A, giving the audience the opportunity to ask questions directly.

“Boating is a distinctive passion that grants us the privilege of exploring captivating overseas coasts,” says Paul Knox-Johnston, sales and marketing manager at Haven Knox-Johnston. “While a quick trip to France on the Eurostar may be easy, embarking on your maiden voyage across the Channel aboard your own boat can sometimes seem like a daunting leap too far.

“This is precisely where our webinar comes into play. Let us alleviate the apprehension associated with planning this journey, ensuring that your passage is not only an adventure filled with unforgettable memories but also a transformative experience marked by newfound confidence.”

For those that are unable to attend, the webinar will be recorded and uploaded to Haven Knox-Johnston’s YouTube channel a few days afterwards.
