Evo R4XT comes with ‘lift transformer’ for water / pier access

Evo has unveiled its new 13m vessel, the Evo R4XT. At its heart is an extendable beach area which the company describes as a fully customised multifunctional stern platform, offering new scenarios and possibilities for exploiting the boat.

Evo believe this tender lift transformer has never been seen before on a 40 foot boat. It was developed by Besenzoni exclusively for the shipyard, based on a design by Valerio Rivellini.

The platform can dip underwater, by about 80cm, which allows access from the sea on any point of the stern. It also extends to enable descent, even from high piers. This means, says Evo, that the vessel’s width allows it to be used as a ladder for disembarking even if a tender or jet ski is on the platform.

There’s a sunbed at the centre of the beach area and a multifunctional ‘sliding’ dining table (it converts into a bar).

Below deck, the bow area can transform from being a dinette to a sleeping area, adding an additional double bed to the one in a separate cabin. The interiors can be customised in layout, design and accessories at the owner’s request.

Two Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines with 535hp each push the vessel to a top speed of 34 knots and a range of approx 300 nautical miles.

In May 2021, the company launched the Evo V8. The brand is owned by the Mercuri brothers’ Blue Emme Yachts.
