Premier Marinas says its berth holders used more than 37,000 complimentary visitor nights across its network during the current berthing year, representing an estimated value of £1.6m.

Visitor nights across the network rose by 39 per cent between 1 October 2025 and 26 August 2026, as berth holders made greater use of Premier’s free visitor berthing across its expanded South Coast and Isle of Wight network.

Premier says it values the complimentary stays using the average amount paid for a visitor night at each marina during the period.

“Our aim has always been to make the scale of the Premier network translate into real value for our berth holders,” says Andrew Lewis, sales and marketing director at Premier Marinas.

“The £1.6 million of complimentary visitor berthing used this year shows just how much additional value customers can get from being part of that network.”

Premier’s expanding marina network

The increase follows a year of significant expansion for Premier. The company acquired Boatfolk in September 2025, bringing Deacons, East Cowes, Haslar, Portland and Weymouth into the network, while Dartmouth was added following the acquisition of Dart Marina Group in April 2026.

The Boatfolk acquisition expanded Premier’s portfolio to 22 sites across the UK, and subsequent integration work brought the former Boatfolk marinas into the Premier network.

The company has since continued to expand. Dartmouth Marina became Premier’s 17th destination in July following the integration of Dart Marina, with berth holders gaining access to the Premier Advantage programme and its network of free visitor berthing across the group.

Premier also completed the acquisition of Hamble Yacht Services in June.

Annual berth holders can use up to 42 complimentary visitor nights across the Premier network, alongside unlimited day visits, through the Premier Advantage package. Other benefits include fuel at cost, an annual Boatyard Reward, up to eight weeks’ storage ashore and a Berthing Loyalty Reward that reduces contract renewal costs.

Lewis says the expanded network is intended to give berth holders greater freedom to use their boats beyond their home marina.

“Your Premier berth is much more than where you keep your boat; it’s your key unlocking the whole network with the freedom to explore a much wider range of destinations, spend more time on the water and make more of your boat ownership.”

The network now spans destinations across the South Coast and Isle of Wight, giving customers options for both short overnight visits and longer cruises.

“We want Premier berth holders to feel that being part of the network gives them something genuinely different.

“That means great facilities and service at their home marina, but also the ability to make use of a wider cruising network and access benefits that add real value throughout the year.”

Lewis adds: “The network growth this year extends what customers can get from their berth, and we’ll continue investing in the marinas, teams and services that make that proposition even stronger.”

The figures are being released ahead of the Southampton International Boat Show, which runs from 18 to 27 September 2026. Premier Marinas will exhibit at the show and welcome berth holders, boat owners and marine industry visitors.
