GDS Ltd now UK Distributor for Katadyn Group Products

Global Distribution Solutions (GDS Ltd) has been appointed the exclusive UK distributor for Katadyn Group brands and products including Katadyn Water products, Katadyn Survivor, Micropur, Steripen, Trek’n Eat Foods, and associated brands including Forestia Foods, Chimpanzee energy foods and Wacaco portable coffee machines.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for us,” says Jim Deheer, director, GDS Ltd. “We are delighted to be working with such a well-established, global company who offers best-in-class products for the marine market. We see there is a great opportunity to grow sales for Katadyn and introduce new products that have not been available to this industry until now.”

Katadyn Group – Making Water Drinking Water – offers products such as the Survivor 06, the world’s smallest hand-operated desalination system approved by SOLAS and the U.S. Coast Guard, and used by army troops worldwide. The company has recently added food brands Trek’n Eat and Forestia to its portfolio. These are long-life food options for onboard yachts, emergency food for life rafts, or expedition packs.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with the team at GDS Ltd and offering our products in the UK through their network of trade accounts,” said Shawn Hostetter, president, Katadyn North America. “We are impressed with the enthusiasm and knowledge they offer on their approach to channel distribution.”
